For Doctors
The following playlist covers low-carbohydrate nutrition, lipidology, and metabolic biochemistry, presented by physicians and researchers for a clinical audience.
Medical guidelines and curricula are, by nature of the publishing and consensus process, often years to decades behind current research, so this isn't a reflection on your training — it's a structural lag in how the field updates. Newer findings such as the Lean Mass Hyper-Responder (LMHR) lipid pattern and ApoB-based cardiovascular risk assessment are not yet standard teaching but are increasingly well-supported. If a patient of yours is on a low-carb, ketogenic, or carnivore diet, this context may be useful for interpreting their labs and presentation accurately, and for having a more productive, evidence-based conversation with them about it.
Key Questions for Patients
Patients should ask their doctor:
"Can you please provide me with the study evidence that this treatment which is relevant to me will reduce my all-cause mortality or improve my survival?"
No guidelines or opinions — rigorous, pertinent evidence only.
Ethical consent is obligatory.
